Episode 2 – Pietro Proserpio: a wizard of wisdom in a corner of a bookstore

My Austrian buddy had come to Lisbon for a couple of days so we enjoyed some of the best things the city has to offer. Righy after breakfast, we ended up swinging by the bookstore “Ler Devagar” located in one of Lisbon’s coolest, creative hubs (LX Factory).
As we were walking up to the bookstore’s last floor, we encountered a man doing a tour to a family of 3. “Please join!” He told us. Shortly after, all of us were fascinated by the set of cinematic objects in there as well as the stories that were bringing them to life. A vibrant harmony between mechanics, history, creativity and wisdom in virtue of Pietro Proserpio’s brilliant mind.
Besides a talented self-made artist, Pietro is a kind, humble human being who made me smile every time he shared the episodes of an inspiring life journey. His words contained a mix of young spirit sprinkled with that grandpa’s feeling of saying the right thing at the right time.
I couldn’t be more grateful to have had the chance to learn so many precious life lessons from a man who always turned problems into opportunities. A man who found true happiness after his retirement. A man who constantly defies the rules of time by inventing cinematic masterpieces. Altogether, Pietro is a wizard of wisdom that we should all look up to onwards. Enjoy the episode!
